Vendor Description "Charming cottage"
It’s a very safe and friendly place to live, with wonderful neighbours who look out for one another. The garden is a real suntrap and private, enclosed by a mature bay tree hedge that’s alive with birds ; robins, hedge sparrows, and bluetits nest there each year and I feed them regularly. I landscaped the garden to create a series of inviting outdoor seating and dining areas. There’s a greenhouse where I grow seedlings and shelter my lemon, lime, and orange trees during the winter months. The garden is home to three olive trees, two sweet chestnuts, two plum trees, a quince tree, a beautiful willow sculpture tree, and an abundance of herbs. Christmas trees at the front and the back of the cottage. I also have an allotment just outside the village, which could be transferred to the new owner. In 2019 I added several thoughtfully designed outdoor buildings: a fully insulated summer house, utility/storage room, and garden WC. All with membrane roofs and 25-year warranty.
